Watching the videos, I think that street art is a communication form that don't depend on technology. They are a group of people that don't have another way to communicate and they try to share ideas that the media are hiding to the society. Also, I think that this is a good way to share the message that they want, because they express their thoughts, their beliefs and their ideas on the walls.

Watching all the examples, I think that the country that have biggest impact on society is Argentina. In this country, the street-art workers can share their ideas without fear, because this thing is not considered like vandalism. In the video says that the limit of this people is the imagination, and the walls are a good way to show bad or good social situations. Also, there are people that came from different countries to share other ideas, and I think that this is good to the culture of Argentina.

Racism

I think that Mariana Rondon would say that in Colombia are also having the universal problem of racism. Also, she can contrast the situation in Colombia with the situation in Venezuela because the racism in this countries is not as radical as in other places. This problem can be prepared if the people take care of the treat this gives to the black people. The black people are the same that the white ones. I think that everyone is equal and everyone deserve respect. To conclude, I want to share this quote that I think that is very important in this topic:

"Treat others the way you want to be treated".

Bangkok's 'Mexican' Gangsters

Bangkok’s Mexican Gangsters are a very good representation of subculture; it consists about young Thai men who dress up as Mexican Gangsters because they feel motivated by their lifestyles and clothes, they feel like these culture represents them in a special way but to be part of the Bangkok’s Mexican Gangster it doesn’t matter how cool you are or how great you dress, it’s necessary to be a Bangkok citizen and to really know what the Mexican gang is about. Their clothing style consists in just a pair of jeans and a normal t-shirt, they are harmless and just enjoying their free time, but I think that they are putting too much effort in being exactly the same as the Mexicans that they forget to include some of their own culture and in that way be able to create a new culture, not just a copy of an existing one.

Introduction

My name is William Hernandez Montes and I am 18 years old. I am currently Studying Industrial Engineering at Universidad del Norte in in Barranquilla, Colombia. In 2015, I graduated from Liceo de Cervantes, also in Barranquilla. My hobby is to play soccer because I can get relaxed. I like to travel to meet new places, new cultures, new people and new ways of life. Once a year, I go to Florida to visit my grandparent, my two uncles and my three cousins. I always spent about one month there. We always try to go to different places and to be in family. Actually, I am in fifth semester and I think that I choose the correct major.
